Why Domestic Rabbits are Not Considered Exotic Creatures

The definition of an exotic creature is constantly changing. While fish, rabbits, rodents, and birds have become commonplace in the world of animal fantasy, they are no longer considered exotic. In some cases, any unique or wild-looking pet, including common domestic animals such as ferrets and rats, can be considered an exotic pet. At the same time, all the dozens of beautiful breeds of domestic rabbits seen today are distant descendants of the European rabbit.

This is a completely different genus and species than the tailed rabbit white. This means that domestic rabbits are not considered exotic creatures. In the Pittsburgh area, diagnostic, medical, surgical and dental care is provided for dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits and pocket pets. This shows that domestic rabbits are not considered exotic creatures in this area either. In conclusion, while some animals may be considered exotic pets, domestic rabbits are not among them. They have become so commonplace in the world of animal fantasy that they no longer fit the definition of an exotic creature.
