Bone's Story
Bones, my twelve year old whippet, was dying. His eyes were getting cloudy, his skin was full of cysts accompanied by the loss of alot of hair and a loss of weight. A longtime friend and veterinarian,Dr. Bill Martin of Fletcher, NC, recommended Flint River Ranch food which I resisted as Bones had always been fed Eukanuba. I thought that Eukanuba was as good as dog food got. Boy, was I ever wrong. After feeding one twenty pound bag, Bones' cloudy eyes cleared up along with his skin and coat, and he put onweight accompanied by increased energy and alertness. He was even looking for love! To make a long story short,Bones returned to excellent health and lived two more years with the last two being much better then the previous two. He died from a stroke December 7, 1997 while chasing a Frisbee - a great way for a Whippet to go.
